Domain Name and Site ChangesPosted by: rWatcher on 9/1/2004 at 5:00:43 PMNew web site design is now up and accessible through http://www.watcherdatabase.tk The new mailing list system should also be up and running (although this message is the first test, so it would be helpful if anyone that receives this message could reply and let me know). The major changes to the site are: - Flash Navigation - Comments can be posted in the News section - HTML versions of decks are now available. - .hld files (Decks) still can't be accessed (I'm working on this problem and will send out a message over the Web Site Updates list when its fixed). - There's now a Log In button. Accounts are being used to subscribe / unsubscribe from the mailing lists, and to allow people to post comments in the news section. Anyone who was on the original mailing list has been given an account with a randomly generated password. To figure out what that password is, use the request password button on the login screen. As previously stated, there are now two mailing lists: - Software Updates - Information about updates to the program and database patches. Also any major web site updates (like moving to a new mailing list system or changing the domain name) may be sent out over this list. - Web Site Updates - Anything that does not fall into the Software Updates category.
